China Equity Market Value Nears Watershed Level on Fund Inflow
The combined market capitalization of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges is climbing toward a milestone level of 100 trillion yuan ($13.9 trillion) on strong fund inflows.
The level is nearly double a landmark 2015 peak. While China's stock market was often criticized for stagnant trading over much of the past decade, the growth in market cap shows the scope of equity investment.
